The quality of overnight accommodations influence the total trip cost. From basic campsites to high end luxury lodges, Uso Africa Safaris can design a trip that includes accommodations that are within your budget and preferred comfort zone. See the photo gallery for images of the accommodation types.
Example: Umoja Women’s Camp
Campsites, basic huts or other accommodations that may be similar to the housing in which local people live. Most have shared bathrooms or latrine-style toilets. Running water / hot water and electricity are available in some locations, but not others.
Example: Lake Nakuru Flamingo Lodge or Masai Mara Manyatta Camp
Hotel- or tented camp style lodging with basic no-frills amenities such as private bath and electricity. This is a “just need a decent place to sleep” option.
Upscale & Luxury
Example: Kichwa Tembo & Lake Nakuru Lodge
Tented camp and/or lodge style with nicely-furnished rooms and a high level of customer service and personal attention. Most facilities include swimming pool, bar, gift shop and similar amenities. Higher-end facilities often have spa and similar options available.
